POC Resume
A resume engine that your own AI drives. Your AI writes and edits a one-page resume in the Berkeley Haas format through this server's tools; the engine lays out every line, tells the AI exactly what fits, and exports the PDF. There is no AI in here: the writing is done by the AI you connect.
Connect it to claude.ai
- In claude.ai, open Customize → Connectors (claude.ai/customize/connectors) and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it POC Resume (any name works) and paste exactly this URL, all lowercase, with no trailing slash:
https://resumebuildermcp.com/mcp - Leave the OAuth client ID, the client secret and any request headers empty. If claude.ai asks, keep Use Claude’s published identity and Sign in now.
- Sign in with your @berkeley.edu Google account and choose Approve.
- In each chat, turn the connector on from + → Connectors, then ask Claude, for example: “Build my Haas resume from my profile.” The first time, Claude asks for your current resume or experience and saves it as your profile.
When Claude exports your resume, the PDF shows up in the chat as a card with a preview of the page and a Download PDF button. In a Project in the Claude desktop app no card shows: use the link in Claude’s reply.
The Free plan allows one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise account only an Owner can add it, under Organization settings → Connectors; members then choose Connect.
If something goes wrong
- If the saved connector URL shows
/Mcpor/MCP, remove the connector and add it again with the URL above. - After this server is updated, remove the connector and add it again so claude.ai sees the current tools: an export that shows only a link, with no card, is the sign (except in a Project in the desktop app, where cards never show).
